I just can't see Rockwell gettting into the retail side, as they have no brand recognition or retail channels.

David, re brand recognition, don't tell me you've forgotten who built the Space Shuttle. Actually I think the name would immediately click with consumers - Oh yeah, that's the company that built the Space Shuttle! The space shuttle was big big news in years past, and I think many people wondered who built it, and for many people (consumers) the name Rockwell still carries a bit of magic. In spite of Challenger, the Space Shuttle fleet is America's crown jewel of the space program. They might actually be a powerful brand name to compete with 3Com.
