I wish I had just half the profits I've left on the table when seeing a position up smartly and thinking
"That is nice but I'm gonna just hold out for more.
Maybe let it roll into a position for a few weeks and save the numerous day trade commissions."

Ha! here's a good rule of thumb:
Don't ever hold or close a position based on the potential savings of a measly commission!

Case in point: Held PMCS short overnight. Saw it earlier near LOD and did the thinking game and now it's up some 40 cents from there.
"Save commissions," HA!
