One point worth mentioning is that it's the FCC's job to monitor and regulate the airwaves. That's what we the people pay them for. If folks don't want them regulating the airwaves, they are free to initiate a process to change the FCC's charter. But until then, they will continue as they have for the past 70 years.

Now, on the other hand, if folks just want them to relax the broadcast standards, they should clearly define appropriate content and where exactly to draw the line. Something like, breast OK, explicit oral sex not OK...?
