Once I had a boss who was proposing to do something I thought was unwise. When I said so, he asked me "What's your idea?" I responded: "I don't have an idea." "Okay then," he replied, "we'll go with my idea." Sending more troops to Afghanistan is hardly a bold initiative. If the dems are to have any hope of winning, the candidate must have an idea of his own, as opposed to just opposing what Bush has done. The dems cannot concede the war on terrorism and have any hopes of winning.
