China has sustained itself for thousands of years Mish, they don’t need to wait 1, 2, 4 or 8 years. There is nothing to keep them from pulling away from the table today. They have that luxury since the loss to their standard of living would only be an interruption to the velocity of its growth. On this side of the pacific the loss would be a retarding of that standard.
