WTF, a professor of morphology? No wonder this country is in trouble. It’s just a hunch, but in the 6 million years the good professor speaks of those salmon have experienced cataclysms far greater than the lack of a tree of a certain age not falling in a stream. I live in the PNW and we are experiencing record breaking runs going back over 80 years. I can't speak for the other 5.99999 million years like the professor pretends. Remember the great Mt St. Helens volcanic explosion that destroyed fish habitat for the next millennium and more? Guess what is swimming in those waters already Morph Man? Course I wouldn’t want to get in the way of the good professor’s next grant that will be funded by our irresponsible deficit spending….so morph-on professor your story resembles week the old fish we use to catch crab.
