Coug, would you then say that it is mainstream which has done everything to prop Kerry up. I think the Democrats unlike the Repubs are fiercely independent. What got Dean to where he is now is because he failed to gauge the power of the ordinary Democratic Party voter. Instead he kept working on Al Gore's endorsement.
