I do not think their fortunes will improve. They re-sell software (how much can you improve on that). They do seem to be getting their overhead down though and thus improving their profit margin ever so slightly.

The main reason to own this one now is for the dividend yield. 40 cents on $7 is still close to 6%. That's pretty attractive if it's low risk. And things could improve if the business spending picks up even more (and Linux takes off as you suggest).
