When Clinton was President-elect in he convened a impressive group of the country's CEO in Arkansas. That meeting ended up with a blueprint for crating jobs and improving the economy. Consequently, we had a decade of economic boom, a boost in US' worldwide image, the terrorists unable to make much headway and the American voters didn't much care about what Clinton did in his provate life.
Then came this grand plan of the mysterious, clandestine extreme right group in the US, the Robertsons, Cheneys, Ashcrofts etc. From 1997 on out, they started to attack the fabric of this country. They did not allow Clinton to function and hit him with legal subpeonas, they tried their impeachment circus, they did not allow people to vote in 1990 especially in Florida and they prevented a vote recount in Florida.
After managing to win the elections legally, Bush during his president-elect time, convened a group of right wingers to draw up a plan to attack Iraq. He brings in a CEO from the steel industry as his Finance Secretary. Fires him for non-performance and now brings in a CEO from the railroad industry. Little that he realize that to move this economy forward he has to look to high tech, biotech and not the industries of steel and railroads. And today we have a disaster on the economic front. The very fundamental right of every American, the right to a full employment has been violated.
Those days are numbered. This President has messed up the lives of the common American while filling the pockets of the rich. He needs to and will be removed in November 2004. Karl Rove will continue to bark but to no avail. |
