Jake, if you carefully read what you have posted, you will find that people vote their pocket books first and foremost. In 1992, it did not matter that Bush 41 was a celebrated war hero. His record as President for 4 years had nothing to show what he did to improve the lot of the American people by way of jobs etc. And they voted him out, This time it is the same with Bush 43.

Jobs, my friend is what the issue is. Americans will be asking Bush that same question. He needs to provide an answer on that issue. If he tries to attack his opponent instead and try to divert the issue, he may piss of the American people and loose with a landslide, a first for a American incumbent.
