Ted Re...So what? So what? People die from ineptness.
What ineptness. The army decided to go before they were ready, and with great speed, to surprise the Iraqi army, and it worked. The fact that tank engines couldn't be delivered because of a shortage of trucks, was inconsequential to the outcome, as the army had plenty of tanks to do the job. And as far as soldiers, fixing their tanks etc, from spare parts, rather than from stocks, tells you how resourceful they were, when the need arose. There is nothing in the report which states the advantages of speed, and surprise, were completely offset by the shortages. The reporter is making a big ado about nothing.
You all are working so hard to prove that this dirty little war is good that you are losing your objectivity, and more importantly, your humanity.
LOL Humanity???? That's a good one, coming from one who wishes Saddam was still killing 30,000 of its citizens a yr.; and who still wishes all 24 mln were still living without their freedom. |
