bush started out playing it clever with his compassionate conservative nonsense, then fell into the usual right wing hubris once the congress and senate went all repub.

I've always said, with this crowd, just give 'em enough rope. Gingrich showed the way.

I favor a split gov't anyway - Kerry with a partially repub. legislative branch will keep each other in check. Still need to get that Delay crowd of cro-magnons out of there though.

Moderates Rule ! Bring back the sensible center.
