Darn, 6 million shares short had to be wrong!

That's the short interest in the Retail HOLDRs (AMEX:RTH - News), that mischievous little instrument that allows you to go long a basket of retailers -- or short it, depending on your whims.

And the whim of the short-sellers, who doubled their short in the last few months, looks incredibly wrong.<<
