On major facet of the Fed's loose monetary policy is being ignored by both the media and Wall Street -- the heavy impact on the living standards of senior citizens who depend upon interest income to supplement their meager pensions and social security checks. Forcing these people to take big risks to keep themselves above the poverty line is little short of criminal IMHO.

Will this trigger a backlash from seniors at the polls this November? Stay tuned.
