All rights reserved surely you jest...the man is a complete charlatan. his middle name is 'polyanna'. to illustrate just how little he really knows ( i.e. what an economic illiterate he is ) , he actually pronounced right after 9-11 that the downfall of the towers was a GOOD THING, economically, because, don'tcha know, all those hi tech geegaws and the office space that got smashed would have to be replaced! he didn't think that according to this logic, it would have been best if they had nuked the entire city. this is btw. known among economists as the 'broken window fallacy' ( google it if you don't know what it is... ) , which has been discredited for something like 200 years. so someone who is referred to as 'chief economist' of tout TV, and reveals his state of blissful economic ignorance in such a way can't possibly be taken seriously...as HK says, the best thing you could possibly say about the man is that he's a shill for the establishment. an 'economist' he ain't.
