It is a "property" issue, and that still holds in most countries.

If anyone feels that their property rights are being infringed upon by somebody else's marriage, they are welcome to go to court to resolve the issue.

I can agree with your POV, but it is not saleable yet in this country.

The protection of individual rights from politically motivated intrusion is a fundamental purpose of the court system.
