I know it's most every mothers dream to have their daughters wedding be the event of a lifetime but to my way of thinking, the ceremony needs to be short and sweet, blessed by God and move on! There will be other events bigger then this and that deserve more attention. I know ya'll will think I'm nuts but I think you should have a little ceremony with a couple close family and friends, then, in a week or so, have a big party. Nothing extravagent, a backyard bar-b-que or a rent the VFW hall. Spending a fortune on a wedding, to me, seems like a huge waste of money. It's not going to the couple getting married who could benefit from it more then the wedding industry. Just think of all the stress that comes with a big wedding. Did you know that the average wedding costs more then most people will spend on a car?
