Bush is going to Beat the Press -- he is getting some serious erosion ... market psyche is a funny thing -- Your buddy makes some good observations -- I have another: Fed is concerned about jobs -- there was a reason for the pep talk yesterday and the application of "funds" today. I don't get too worked up about a rally on the employment report -- it is generally a rally day -- Watch VXO -- watch what happens on Monday to get a clue as to where we are going. We rally almost every time there is an employment report, even though the fundamental news is simply awful. I'll be blunt: My own view is that this rally will have all the staying power of the recent Japense interventions on behalf of the buck.
