Gary, do I know how to rattle a technitian or do I??/(gg). Your questions and remarks: -Muse is not a cure for ed;It is a therapy.Misprint on my part. When you are not writting in a patient's chart I guess sometimes it's easier to make mistakes.I will be very/more medically accurate from now on,knowing we have an aspiring physicain amongst!!(gg). -I knew that Vivus might go down some more when I bought it at 26.5 but it was not of serious concern to me because: the amount I bought was small; It was cash with no margin;I have zero margin;I am not long or short in any other stock so I don't care what the market does; I know that this stock,in the next 12 months will hit45-50 so 25.6 is good enough;I DON'T KNOW, AND YOU DON'T KNOW HOW LOW VIVUS WILL GO and since I really want to be in this stock I am willing to pay a little premium; In regards to TA:It's too late for me to get into it;I was never excited by math and pre-calculus was as far as I got whereas my two sons will be done with Algebra II at age 14 and going into Funct Stats & trig at 15; The problem with TA however is that IMHO it just describes what the herd will do or likely to do.In life I have always made it my point NOT to do what the herd does, but, frequently, do the opposite(gg). A contrarian you might say.You can do very well in the stock market without TA as many in this thread will tell you.As Mark said we fly by the seat of our pants. All other stocks I listen carefully to my broker;Vivus on the other hand is my business, medicine,it is what I am good at(unlike math) and so I follow my medical knowledge. I have repeatedly put disclaimers in this thread for people not to do what I do and that this thread is for fun and entertainment. few or nobody is in the exact same position I am in,we are all different at different ages with different needs and financial position so everybody here should sit down with their financial adviser/broker and tell THEM what TUNA thinks(gg) and let THEM advise you. Of course I don.t know if their broker what have advised to go BIG on Vivus at 16.5!!!!(gg).By the way,and here is what I would be interested to know A) what did your charts tell you TO DO when Vivus was 16.5, and,B)Did you buy it then? or at what price did you get it. If you should accept this mission, then this thread will be gratefull to you and advance to the forward guru position and listen to your buy sell reccomm.Incidentally, my aim is to trade Vivus at this point between20-28 at 1.25 spreads 9MY cost both ways is .25 cents total)9 that is all I need. The trade is executed on a daily basis,in and out.I did not get in at 26.5 for the long haul. That was a one day deal. With moving 2-4000 shares a plop that translates to $ 2-3000/day; not a lot of money but enough to pay for gas.
