Johnson and Nixon got us mired in Vietnam. Kennedy started a military police action spear-headed by the Green Berets Kennedy formed. In the mid 60's it was working. The escalation ruined everything. It was based oin a big lie and was a big for-profit venture for companies like Halliburton's Brown+Root and Bectel. Same greedy players then as now.
