Yes, it is, as a generality. That's irrelevant to the issue at hand, though it might suggest an argument for marriage, not against it. In general, married people are less promiscuous than unmarried ones.
I'd wager that after the age of, say, 30, lesbian promiscuity is less than heterosexual male promiscuity. Maybe before the age fo 30, too. (Unmarried males are generally as promiscuous as they get a chance to be.)

There are enough long term, devoted gay couples around that we have three couples of them as good friends. Well, two couples and one widower. When they can get married, you'll find out that there are more out there than you know.
