It does not matter if Dem or Rep, what it matter is the leadership of the Pres.

from recent history Nixon brought a prolonged recession Carter inflation and then a deep and painful recession Bush Sr. a recession Clinton huge economic dislocations and financial bubble from which we are still suffering of it's aftermath... and so on

The only guy that made some sense of all was after all R. Reagan for a few years.

SO it does not count IMHO Rep or Dem .... and from what I see nothing inspiring is awaiting us ......
