AMES had bad business habits fron bankruptcy. The formula of their business model can not attract more customers in their area. They keep on buying bankruptcy stores from court at a high price. So, AMES constantly consolidates. Now they are refocusing on "limited upscaling" to attract better clients. This strategy is just beginning to take hold. The gross margin is better.

With this new formula of business model executed along with their successful golden55 clients, AMES can expand again for more revenue and earnings. It took over a year already to try out the limited upscaling. So, it may take some more time to fight for market share from Caldor, Bradlee, etc.

Stock price should be $20, but due to inconsistant earnings, AMES is being punished.
