I'm going to give you a little lesson in reason and logic. Now pay attention, as you obviously are having trouble in this area. First you state a sarcastic and false premise:

"It's too damned bad you never watch the news"

Next you state that Tenet defended his agency, which he did imo. But then you state why he has done it, and the TRUTH is you do not know why he did. He is getting heat from everyone, and thought it was time to say something is my guess. This is one of the irritating things the hard core lefties do in nearly every "argument" they present. STATE THEIR OPINION AS FACT.

"The Director of the CIA, George Tenet, in a speech yesterday, defended his agency. He is being taken as a fall guy"

I have not seen the whitehouse make the CIA the scapegoat. Your sarcastic insinuation that they have done it is just that. A sarcastic insinuation. Here it is again:

"Do you think using the CIA as a scapegoat for the White House is ok?"

In conclusion, you have made three points. Two of them (that I don't watch the news and that the whitehouse has blamed the CIA) are certainly dishonest tactics if not outright lies. The news watching is insignificant, and used only to point out your dishonest tactics. But the blatant falsehood that the whitehouse has blamed the CIA is completely unsupported. I will retract what I say here if you can show me when and where they have done this.

The third point that Tenet defended his agency appears accurate to me. Nothing wrong with doing that when you are being attacked in the media almost daily.

But hey, 33 1/3% of your points were valid. Unfortunately the main negative and sarcastic point you were trying to make is completely unsupported by anything other than your dislike (or should I say hate?) of the Bush administration.

Funny to be lectured by someone with such a WEAK argument.
