I admit to mixed emotions on it. Back in my full Libertarian days, I had your attitude. But now I think there is a lot of merit in perserving standards. Don't get rid of them without careful consideration. We just had an example of this at the Super Bowl.

I am willing to extend tolerance to Gays, but not acceptance. I think that is where most people are at.

"We're here, we're queer, and we are going to run your son's Boyscout troop," just won't cut it for most people.
