The contest has indeed begun. If you want to see this in action watch Hannity's talking points. They come directly from the RNC. The only change is that Kerry has replaced Dean, which is Bush-cheney's worst nightmare. They thought Kerry was out of it. Kerry is not your ordinary liberal. He's tough and manly. He's also a fighter, a closer and a brilliant tactician with some of the best and brightest all around him. Then there's the money. Bush may have 100 million but look how fast Kerry beat Dean and his 45 million. Kerry can start raising 3-4 million a week very soon. Kerry actually doesn't like old-style liberalism. he calls them "goo-goo eyed". Bleeding heart he is not. He may come out for a legislative ban on gay marriages. I agree. Gay marriages are a stupid idea we don't need. I'm not even sure most gays want gay marriages. Kerry doesn't need to kowtow to the gays or any other special interest. He's his own man now.
