What is the yield QCOM is paying? 0.5%, let them even double this. If you want to count on dividends take a look at Transcanada Pipeline TRP which is paying more than 4% and is on the real road to increase dividends. That's much more than any bank is paying and demand for natural gas in North America is growing. TRP has a steady record for numbers of years to pay higher dividends than any bank account.
