<What is the yield QCOM is paying? 0.5%, let them even double this>

What does it matter the dividend they pay now? It's normal that people have trouble separating the future from today. At present, there are only 180 million CDMA subscribers. I'm interested in the time when there are 2 billion of them. As you can imagine, when QUALCOMM is selling technology to 2 billion subscribers [and more to telemetry buyers], the dividends will be a lot more fun than with 180 million subscribers.

Double? I'm thinking in terms of 10 times as many subscribers and since royalties and software have really high profit margins, the development costs will be trivial. Profits will boom. It's all about economies of scale and zero marginal cost of production.

Transcanada Pipeline needs gas to supply [or whatever it is goes through the pipeline]. When does the supply run out?

Incidentally, China has just announced exporting of CDMA handsets, which will mean a 7% royalty, rather than the normal 5% from other countries.
