Kerry got his "convention boost" early on. I am already getting sick of him. The Bush SOTU flop will be replaced by a stellar performance with russert. You can say alot of things about russert, but his nature is to respect the office. He will give Bush some room to adopt the Kay perspective on WMD and mix that with a little bit of tenet's spirtied defense of the Agency.
In the end, the point is that brave leaders must make choices regarding war and peace in real time. Right or wrong, Bush(& Blair) did what he thought was right and more importantly he/they acted. Now the job is to make the intel better so we can continue to preempt threats before they become IMMINENT. MIke@kerrywillflop.com
PS Remember President Mondale was ahead of reagan early on as was President Dukakis.
