I wouldn't be surprised to learn that there's something to the rumors. Otherwise, the issue would have stabilized by now.

It's the "Big Lie" technique, Karen. If there was anything in his records that hurt much, someone in the service would have leaked it by now. Every accusation was "asked and answered" during the 2000 election. But they are going to rake them all up again.

The only thing that hurt was the DWI that the Dems held until the last moment. Bush was dumb not to get it out himself.
