Yes, that is precisely what I am advocating. I am a young worker with decades to go until I hit retirement. The entitlement programs will not be there when I retire. If you accept that as a given, it is better that these entitlement programs collapse AS SOON AS POSSIBLE in order to minimize the amount of money that my generation has to pay into them. The worst-case scenario would be for me to keep paying higher and higher taxes into these programs for decades only to have them collapse anyway right before I'm supposed to get benefits. Well, if my generation is going to be left "holding the bag", then let's FORCE THE ISSUE RIGHT HERE AND NOW!
