The Rats-whoops!-Civil Servants-are leaving the sinking Dean.

In retrospect, the best prediction about Dean came from Sullivan, who said tongue-in-cheek when Dean was flying high and Gore endorsed him, 'that's surely the kiss of death, it's all downhill from here, knowing Gore's record of bad timing', or words to that effect.
