Historically, those liberals made changes for the good of the society and communities, and government expenditure goes a long way. Conservatives typically made changes of regression, reversing beneficial changes, and wasted money for self enrichment (i.e. own conglomerates in this case).
With liberals, we would get societies with living conditions such as those in European countries. With conservatives, it's living condition in the Phillippines. Remember that in 1950, Phillippines was the richest country in the Pacific Rim and decades of Marcos junta took it deep into murky cesspool. Corruption and lies became acceptable and a way of life. Many other similar examples. I never thought it could happen here in the US, but here we are.
Another 5 years of the Bushwacko junta and the corruption lies mentality will be ingrained into society's psyhology and it will become the way of life. It will transform this society like many of those in third world countries.
Kerry is likely to keep us from getting too deep into the cesspool, or maybe take us out of it. Bushwacko will definitely take the US deeper into an even murkier cesspool. Now we have the neocons supreme control and the help they get from Congress, I wonder whether American majority can see and feel of what's transpiring? Americans definitely have a clear choice to make this year. We'll see what destiny lies ahead and Americans will definitely make that choice this November.
