Your posts are quite simplistic and really do nothing other than what you probably accuse others of doing, i.e., trumpeting a line that is complex with simple rhetoric.

In fact, Iraq was and is a very complex problem both vis-a-vis its neighborhood and the world. The US policy towards Iraq has been problematic, particularly our support of Saddam for both cold war and anti-Iran purposes. Somehow, I hope we come up with a foreign policy that is more than just "the enemy of my enemy is my friend."

It's absurd just to blame Bush as he has not acted in a vaccuum. That's why I believe when the American people see a campaign of Bush v anti-Bush, Bush will win. It's easy to sit back and criticize with lines like "don't let the door hit you on the way out." It's another thing to come up with some real solutions, whether one is an SI poster or a candidate for President.
