Thanks for your comments Amy. I thought Clinton was much better domestically than internationally. In my opinion, Clinton put our country at huge risk by presiding over the erosion of our intelligence gathering operations, failing to take action against Osama Bin Laden when he had the chance, and abdicating the responsiblity to confront the rise in world terrorism during his administration. He didn't see what was developing and really dropped the ball on this. Having said that, I would prefer Bill Clinton to Bush going forward as someone probably more likely to be able to effectively build international consensus to tackle world problems. In general, I think he is a smarter fellow than Bush and the current crop of democratic hopefuls, including his spouse that is trying to ride on his coattails.<g>
