Nor did this war have anything to do with liberating the Iraqis from an oppressor...at this point, 10,000 - mostly women and children - have been killed as a direct result of bush's dirty war. our troops are "the occupying enemy", not liberators. For all its faults, the govt of Iraq gave everyone medical care to the extent it was available, and everyone had access to education. Those people begged us not to invade, and now we've ravaged the country, which bush and company KNEW was completely defenseless. And our service men and women are in the direct line of fire of Iraqi outrage, guarding the interests of halliburton and bechtel as they plunder and loot.
