This article makes some excellent points regarding gay marriage. I think he's spot on regarding the word, marriage. The word is important. The gay marriage advocates should concede the word forthwith. That would dispense with a lot of the opposition. It's outrageously extreme to insist on marriage. On the other side, amending the Constitution is outrageously extreme, as well. Some folks have lost their minds. This is a problem that can be solved, IMO, if the parties would actually problem solve rather than dig in and fight.
