Bush has nothing to do with offshoring. That trend started YEARS ago. Over 20 years ago I myself helped an electronics company set up an operation in Mexico. It was against my advice, but they wanted to anyhow. Turned out I was right and eventually it failed but the point I am making is offshoring is a phenomena that has been going on a long time and was heightened by the Y2K boom that left a vast shortage of workers in technology resulting in salaries ballooning way beyond their value. jdn
