'Nit-picking'? Carter didn't overthrow Mossedeh and put the Shah back in power (the SECOND time we did that). He merely happened to be our leader when it came time to reap the whirlwind we had sewn. And, what's up with skipping an entire 12 years of history? (The time we were training OBL, illegally shipping missiles to Iran, providing support to Saddam while he was murdering millions, etc.)
