Demand is robust, and IMO will continue to be as long as Americans can borrow an extra $50 billion plus a month:

Demand is "robust" only because prices are low.
You keep forgetting that.
Not only that, we have to borrow for them.
If and when prices are jacked up, watch demand fall thru the floor.

That is the huge flaw in your scenario, IMO.
