Sharp sand for masonry costs fifteen loonies a tonne now, i hear .... don't know if that's loaded in the pit or delivered, don't care, soon as i heard that i decided to recover an old pile, screen the alder roots out of it .... and gravel is cheap here, all local and efficiently produced, for sure it will be far more expensive in many places ... i think chances are that a well-engineered operation wouldn't need any gold to make it pay .... yet there is enough gold to keep those primitive dredges going for years, at what, about a rate of forty per cent efficiency, probably less than that even .... yes, this has to pay, if/when they ever get it going

Is Claude still watching Cadre, do you think? ..... it was on a word from him that i first tuned into it, years ago .... he's a cautious guy though, he'll want to see the permit in hand before getting back in
