Those kind of rounds are fun - we have a 2 club tournament every year. Most folks use a 3 wood for distance and putting and a 7 or 8 for the middle shots or chips. You know it really is interesting how close you can get to your normal scoring range.

I got all excited about the new Taylor Made RAC irons. All the reviews are very positive about how much distance they add to your shots. When I compared them with other irons I figured out why....club for club they are an average of 1.2 to 2.5 degree less loft! Phucking guys...they try to trick!

Even though I loved the feel of them with the low center of gravity, I'll have to think about the value of having each club de-lofted....that could really impact your swing, angle of approach to the green etc.
