What happened to people considered to be witches and heretics, ie those who couldn't accept the teachings of the church.... What would you call fasting for Lent, religious beatings of any kind for whatever reason, exorcism, burning at the stake, dunking, crucifixtion, total isolation with no talking or outside contacts....vows of poverty, celibacy, religious suicide, murder and war in the name of religion....faith healing.....
