You're quibbling over very minor semantics, you who deliberately lied about what the French wrote about WMDs, remember that?

Here's what I wrote that bothered you so much: "It was Bush's clear intention to convince the American people that Iraq was a threat. Here's a rewrite, just for you, LOL:

It was Bush's clear intention to convince the American people that Iraq was a threat. The CIA now claims that it was their view that Iraq was not an imminent threat. The implication is that the decision for war was a judgement by Bush, not the CIA.

But the American public is unlikely to worry too much about parsing the difference between "imminent threat" and "gathering threat" or whatever. Bush's basic problem is that he started an optional losing war due to a cowardly fear of an imaginary threat.
