My girlfriend has been a career recruiter her whole life, holding prestigious positions with Wall Street financial companies and her last position was with one of the largest international publication companies on earth. A year and a half-long victim from layoffs, she's been having a very difficult time in her effort to find a job comparable to what she's been accustomed.

If a top-notch recruiter is having difficulty finding work, this indeed is a sign of the times.

And we have so many cats to feed--lol! We used to rescue any animal we could, but now even this is difficult.

My feelings are deep and sympathetic for those who are feeding and providing for children. And college tuitions are really skyrocketing out of bounds. And families can't be too happy having to work longer hours, away from their children, on lesser paying jobs just to make ends meet. A clever person might try to adjust and start up a small business--but bankruptcies, more than not, are rampant under GOP administrations. Especially this one!

To make matters worse, the price of tickets at once-friendly Fenway are now ridiculously out of reach for many folks! This, too, is a sign of the times!
