Borders Group Signs with National Processing Company for Credit Card Processing

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Feb. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- National Processing Company, LLC (NPC®), a leading provider of merchant credit and debit card processing and a wholly owned subsidiary of National Processing, Inc. (NYSE: NAP), announced the signing of a multi-year credit card processing agreement with Borders Group, Inc. (NYSE: BGP). Under the terms of the agreement, NPC will provide authorization and settlement services via NPC's MultiLink® platform for all MasterCard® and VISA® transactions accepted at Borders and Waldenbooks stores in the United States.

Borders Group, Inc. is a leading global retailer of books, music, movies and entertainment items. Headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Borders Group operates over 1,200 Borders and Waldenbooks stores around the world.
