>>> BAGHDAD, Feb. 9 -- The U.S. military has intercepted a document, apparently written by an Islamic guerrilla leader from Jordan with ties to al Qaeda, that details a campaign of violence meant to destabilize Iraq by pitting religious and ethnic groups against one another.

The document, which was found on a compact disc and runs 17 pages, was detailed in Monday's New York Times and described at a briefing for news media here....<<<

I just woke up to the sound of CNN News referencing the above letter. We're told this letter was allegedly written by the Bush Administration's favorite fab bad guy, Abu Musab Zarqawi, and in it is a call for more terrorists to visit Iraq in order to wreck havoc on everyone, and to help prevent a new government from taking hold.

I'm plagued by the following questions:

Why, in the crazy world Bush Administration intelligence, is the U.S. military openly delivering this letter for the terrorists, by publicly announcing its contents? One would think something like this would be kept close to the vest!

Is publicly releasing such a document smart--I mean does the Administration's action actually serve to deliver for terrorists, a message addressed to terrorists?

Is this inept?

Is this letter similar to the Niger yellow cake documents?

Are we seeing yet another example of war and terror politics admininistered by public relations, this so as to feed a stronger image for Bush's efforts to prove Al Qaeda involvement in Iraq--is this part of a planned design, a recovery strategy to help get Bush off the hook on reasons why our soldiers are now dying in Iraq?

Anyone have any thoughts?

Think: GOPwinger lies, distortions, omissions and perversions of truth.
