I'm not sure whether this story about al-Qaeda "sleeper cells" in 40 states planning attacks is true--the Washington Times is openly conservative, but they aren't wrong all the time. But if it is true that those cells are hiding in Muslim communities in the US, those communities had better be actively involved in identifying and rooting out those cells. Because if there are a string of attacks traced back to Muslim communities in the US, the backlash is going to be pretty ferocious.

It may not be fair to blame every Muslim for such attacks, but fair goes out the window when your home and family is under fire. Smart Muslims are going to realize that it's in their best interests to identify and turn in extremists in their midst before they can attack.
