Yikes, one of my favorite old haunts.

Most I've had to fend off while on a bike around here have been over zealous dogs, no small feat. Dogs don't do a stealth attack like cats do (unless they are trained that way) so usually you have time to arm yourself with a water bottle full of gatoraid. I have been bitten more than once though. There is something about the sound or movement of a bike that drives normally friendly dogs wild.
