Was it not Henry Ford who said, in jest, that he could turn 50% of Americans against the other half?

"By definition, people that do not participate in the singular ideology are threats."

Isn't this the problem with the Moslems, they are willing to die for their beliefs and not knuckle under to the threats, real and imagined, of a war machine and skewed foreign policy?

Isn't this the problem with the "hippies" and "Gen Xers" who reject the hypocrisies of their once liberal and non-materialistic parents? Who are not so interested in "buying and spending" into the American culture?

We feed the corporations, they promise and often deliver inexpensive goods (not all costs accounted for), and slowly put a strangle hold on the societies it does business in, while the officers walk off with their investor's money and for punishment the State and Federal government collect the fines leaving the investors empty-handed.

Remember the Steppenwolf song "Monster"?

"The spirit was freedom and justice
And it's keepers seem generous and kind
It's leaders were supposed to serve the country
But now they won't pay it no mind
'Cause the people grew fat and got lazy
And now their vote is a meaningless joke
